DE BEERS X HERR OBER

On a May evening in London, DE BEERS X HERR OBER brought together a small group of people for something that wasn’t a launch, and wasn’t a campaign, but something we felt the world might need more of right now: a space for conversation, connection, and meaning.

Inside the White Gallery at Nobu Hotel , a room designed like a blank canvas with one large window looking out onto the city, we gathered around the idea that jewellery can be more than something we wear - that it can become something we return to. A symbol. A memory. A silent story we carry with us when words fall short.

We spoke not just about craftsmanship, but about what it means to give form to feeling, to turn memory into matter, and design into something deeply personal.

Together with DE BEERS, we explored how rough diamonds, in their untouched state, can hold power and vulnerability all at once, how beauty doesn’t always need polishing, and how perfection isn’t always the goal.

There was no script. No spectacle. Just people - curious, open, reflective - sharing a moment where the invisible things we carry were allowed to surface. We talked about belief. Identity. The quiet comfort of wearing something that reminds you who you are, where you’ve been, or who you’re still becoming.

A huge thank you also to the de beers team to trust us with this meaningful project, to the Nobu team who gave us the opportunity to bring this vision into reality, to Volzhenka for the most exquisite caviar. We’re grateful to everyone who stepped into that room and created these moments with us.
