SOHO TONIGHT, PORTO TOMORROW

This is a Soho House Members Event with limited seats for the HERR OBER community.
Unfortunately, today’s event at Soho House Berlin is now fully booked. If you have not received a personalised confirmation email with your name explicitly listed, please note that we will not be able to grant admission.
The number of registrations has been far higher than anticipated, and the capacity of the room simply does not allow us to accommodate additional guests.
We truly appreciate the enthusiasm and hope to welcome you at one of our upcoming events later this year.
COMMUNITY ADDITION
CAFI COSTA

We’re always on the lookout for founders who inspire the Herr Ober community.
Recently, we met Cafi Costa, the founder of WRONG SENSE, a brand built around a simple idea: the best things don’t always make sense at first.
Cafi started WRONG SENSE during the quiet months of the pandemic. Like many founders, he suddenly had time to think about what he really wanted to build. Not another trend-driven label, but pieces that felt personal — vintage-inspired, cinematic, and slightly nostalgic. Clothes that feel like they already carry a story.
Growing up in Porto, the atmosphere around FC Porto left its mark on him. The intensity of the stadium, the identity of the city, the feeling of belonging to something larger. That same energy quietly runs through the brand.

Beyond clothing, Cafi’s references often come from objects and places with character. His dream car, for example, has always been the Porsche 911 Targa: one of those designs that hasn’t really needed to change for decades. The kind of object that proves good ideas age well.
Coffee is another daily ritual. One place he still hopes to visit is Tymm Cafe in Seoul, known as much for its atmosphere as for the coffee itself. And sometimes inspiration appears unexpectedly. While shooting a WRONG SENSE campaign in New York City, he stopped by Buck Mason , one of those stores where the lighting, the fabrics, and the quiet confidence of the place all seem perfectly aligned.
Football gave him passion. Vintage gave him perspective. WRONG SENSE is where the two meet.

COMMUNITY
Over the past year, many remarkable women have taken part in Herr Ober: founders, artists, designers, writers, operators, investors, and more. Women who built companies, created objects and art, opened spaces, built brands, launched ideas, and shared the stories behind them. joined our panels. Some opened their doors to us. What they all had in common was generosity.
A willingness to share their knowledge and experiences, not only with us, but with the next generation of founders, creators, and operators who will come after.
Herr Ober has always been about sharing. The women who have contributed to this community are very much part of that story.
Today we simply want to say thank you for helping build something that will continue to inspire many more to come.
