Together with Soho House Berlin, Herr Ober had the pleasure of hosting a conversation with some of the founders shaping Berlin’s hospitality landscape.


The evening offered a rare glimpse into the beginnings of their journeys, why they started, the first principles behind their work, and the importance of remaining independent in a world that often rewards scale over substance.

We spoke about quality, branding, and the quiet discipline required to build something meaningful over time.

What stood out most, however, was the engagement in the room. The curiosity, the questions, the exchange of perspectives. It was a reminder that spaces like these matter.

Hospitality has always been about more than what is served on the plate.
It is about people, ideas, and the willingness to share.

Perhaps that is what we need more of. More conversation, more exchange, more moments that bring people together around a table.
