PANEL TALK: THE SHIFT IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY

On June 20th, we hosted another special panel at Soho House Berlin: this time diving deep into one of the most defining conversations of our time: the shift in the music industry. We sat down with a group of artists who aren’t just navigating that shift, they’re helping shape it.

Noah Levi, who won The Voice Kids at just 11 years old, spent years signed to major labels like Warner and Universal. Now, at 24, he’s building something on his own terms - running his own label and supporting other artists on their way.

KOSMO KINT - GAVRIEL AUGUST

Kosmo Kint, a genre-blending force, is known for his releases with Toy Tonics, writing for Circoloco, and moving with intention toward full independence; creatively and structurally.

Gavriel August, who’s been immersed in music since he was one year old, built his sound between Berlin and L.A. A born producer who found his voice (literally) thanks to a manager who saw more in him.

DANIEL & MARIUS: TERMINAL 1

And the duo from Terminal 1: Daniel and Marius, who didn’t wait for permission. They created their own platform in Berlin’s nightlife, carving out a space where their sound could be heard.

What they shared wasn’t just about industry mechanics. It was raw. Honest. Human.

They spoke about the realities of being an artist today: the challenges and advantages with labels, the uncertainty of financial pressure, the rise of AI, and answered the quiet questions so many creatives carry.

C3MSTA & NICK VAN HAASE

But the thread that connected all of them was clear: passion. Not just for the outcome, but for the process. The choice to show up every day and create. Their stories reminded us that being an artist isn’t about chasing validation, it’s about returning to the work again and again, because you believe in what you’re building.

SOHO HOUSE BERLIN

Thank you to the artists for sharing so openly. And to the audience, who stayed late into the night, creating a spontaneous jam session on the terrace that felt like something bigger than just a party. It felt like a moment. And those are rare.
